The Irish Music Society of Oulu

The society was established in 2005 to promote Irish music and culture in Oulu by organising high quality events open to all and by providing learning opportunities to anyone interested in Irish music and dance. The society also functions as the northernmost branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann. Find out more about the society here.

The Irish Festival of Oulu

First organised in 2006, The Irish Festival of Oulu has grown to become a world-class festival of Irish music and culture, reaching all of Finland and beyond. Other Irish events in Oulu

Throughout the year the society organises traditional Irish music sessions, dance courses and smaller gigs and events. St. Patrick's Day forms a mini-festival in March with a variety of music and dance events, and fun costumes allowed! Find out more about sessions and upcoming events here.
